Jared Leto Clowns it Up at the GQ Men of The Year Awards

Behold your Gucci Clown, world:

He’s a very silly man.

Lately, we’ve taken to ragging on him for coming across like someone who just throws together outfits picked from huge piles of free merch. And while we have no doubt Mr. Relationship-with-Gucci did not pay for this suit, we can’t really blame him for throwing it together. He’s wearing this thing as God and Gucci intended, bless his heart.

Quite often, we can pick out an item or two in his cray that looks fun, fabulous or fashionable. Here? We cannot. It’s not the color or the plaid or the huge, embroidered lapels that bug. In the right circumstances, we could get behind any or all of those elements. It’s the shape that kills it. Both the jacket and the pants are proportionally awful. Worse (or maybe just as bad), the fabric itself looks kind of cheap and flimsy.

Jared, it’s time to get off the Gucci train.
